GCSE revision

I teach borderline students for an extra hour each week. The group was only created in January so I'm trying to cram a lot in, in the build up to the March exam. After that it will be more focused.

I try to have a theme for each week (below: Calculator use, Proportion and Algebra). I enlarge each page to A3 and print double sided. A lot for one hour!

Calculator use: second page goes on to formulae. This is very much simplified, not using any questions with quirks such as slanted heights in cones.

Proportion: This one is a mixed bag, but I hoped that students would make links between all these topics which would make them more accessible. The graphs at the top of the second page are to play connect four. After connecting four, you can ask the students if they can name the graph.

Algebra: Frist page is all about manipulation, then second on solving. The Sodoku puzzle is done by placing the numbers 1 to 4 on each line without repetition and satisfying the inequality signs.
